About this jonesborough gift
Jonesborough is the oldest town in Tennessee, and people who live there tend to say so. It has a historic downtown of brick storefronts, a storytelling festival that brings crowds every fall, and a sense of being a small place with a long memory. A Jonesborough shirt fits someone who grew up there and came back, someone who moved in for the quiet and the front porches, or a visitor who fell for the town on a weekend trip. Add a neighborhood, a street or a year they moved in, and the shirt becomes about their town rather than a generic souvenir. For the person who's away, a Jonesborough mug is a small reminder of where they're from. The gift works best when it reflects why they love the place, so think about whether they're proud of its history, its people or its slower pace, and let the design say that.
