About this karthaus gift
Karthaus is a small place name, and it's easy to miss on a map, so the people who come from there tend to hold on to it. A Karthaus shirt works for someone who grew up there, someone who moved away and still calls it home, or a friend who has heard so many stories about the town they feel like they've been. The design is the simplest kind of gift: the name, set large, with room for a second line if they want a year or a street or a nickname from home. Because the spelling is distinctive, the shirt does the talking at a reunion or on a trip, and a Karthaus mug on a desk is a quiet reminder of where they started. If you're not sure how the town is spelled or what the local shorthand is, check with someone who knows it before you type, since a single letter changes the whole look.
