About this kaumakani gift
Kaumakani is a small place on the island of Kauai, a town most people only know if they grew up there or drove through on the way to somewhere else. That's exactly why a shirt with the town name means so much to the people who live there. It's a quiet kind of pride, the kind you wear to the grocery store or to a family picnic in the park. Someone who grew up in Kaumakani and moved away often wants a piece of home they can actually wear, and a hoodie is good for the cooler evenings they miss. A mug works for the morning coffee routine far from the island. Because the name is specific, you can add a second line with a family name, a school year or a street, which turns a town shirt into something only they would have.
