About this knoxville gift
Knoxville is the kind of city people leave for a while and then keep coming back to, whether that's for the University of Tennessee, a job at one of the hospitals or the lakes and river that run through town. A Knoxville shirt is how they claim it, for a game weekend, a trip home at the holidays or a few laps around the Old City. What lands best is the detail only a local would notice, like a neighborhood, a school year or a street they grew up on. Put that in the second line and the shirt stops being a souvenir and starts being theirs. For someone who has moved away, a Knoxville mug in the morning is a small reminder of where they're from. For a student finishing a degree there, a hoodie with the year on it marks the moment well.
