About this lafayette hill gift
Lafayette Hill is a village in Whitemarsh Township, a few miles northwest of Philadelphia along the Lincoln Drive corridor, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto the place. Lafayette Hill is a small community, with the kind of local ties that come from neighbors who have known each other for decades. A shirt or hoodie with the village name is how someone who grew up there, or who lives there now, shows it at a family reunion, a college reunion, or on a trip far from home. For the person who moved away, a mug with the village name is a daily reminder of where they started. For a new resident, it's a way of saying they're part of the place now. Add a second line, a year they moved in, or a street name if they'd like it personal, and the shirt becomes theirs.
