About this lgsw gift
LGSW stands for Licensed Graduate Social Worker, a title that marks someone who has finished a master's in social work and passed the licensing exam, and who is now carrying real caseloads. Many LGSWs are doing the hardest part of the job in their first years: long days of home visits, court dates, crisis calls and paperwork, often with a clinical supervisor they're still learning from. A gift that acknowledges that stage works well. A tee for the drive between appointments, a hoodie for the cold office, or a mug for the strong coffee that gets them through a full caseload. Put LGSW on the front and their name or year of licensure underneath and it becomes personal rather than generic. Since licensure comes after a long run of school and exams, a gift tied to that milestone also lands well with people who've just passed the test.
