About this link trainer gift
A link trainer is the person who ran the pilot-training simulator, the old pivoting cockpit that taught generations of aviators to fly on instruments before they ever left the ground. Many of them were instructors, mechanics and aviation enthusiasts who loved getting a student to finally trust the gauges. A gift that speaks to that work lands well: a tee or hoodie with their title on it, shown to anyone who asks what they do, or a mug for the hangar or the simulator room where they spend their hours. Because the word is specialized, a short explanation in your own words on a second line can help the design read the way you mean it. If you're not sure how they'd want the title written, keep it simple and let their name do the rest.

- A hoodie for the cold hangarSimulator rooms and hangars run chilly, so a hoodie they can wear over the flight line is practical as well as personal.
- A mug for the break roomAn 11 oz mug with their title gives them a spot at the coffee table that's clearly theirs.
