About this mahomet gift
Mahomet is a village in Champaign County, Illinois, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the village name is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, and for anyone who left for college, a job or the military, it's the thing they reach for when they want to feel home for a minute. Mahomet is small enough that a lot of people know each other, so a design with the village name on it can start a conversation at a game, a reunion or a visit back. It works as a graduation gift for someone heading off to school, a hoodie for the first cold winter away, or a mug for the kitchen of someone who misses the place. You can add a second line for a graduation year or a family name to make it more personal.
