About this marrero gift
Marrero is a city in Louisiana, a place people usually mean when they talk about the West Bank of New Orleans, across the Mississippi in Jefferson Parish. Most people who live there are proud of it in the way that comes from a community where folks know each other, from the neighborhood to the parish. A shirt that says Marrero is how someone who grew up there, or still lives there, wears it without having to explain. It also works for anyone who moved away and misses the Gulf Coast humidity and the food that goes with it. Go with a dark tee or a hoodie for cooler months, or an 11oz mug for the kitchen counter of someone far from home. If you're buying for a group of friends or family from the same town, the Team Shop lets you put one design on everyone's shirt with each person's name.
