About this mathis gift
Mathis is a family name first, and a Mathis shirt tends to end up at the family table: a reunion, a holiday photo, a cousins' weekend where somebody finally needs a shirt that says who they're with. It's also a name people carry into new places, so a Mathis hoodie or mug can be the one that makes a grandparent or a far-off relative feel close. The product matters less than the second line. Add the reunion year, the branch of the family, or the first name of the person you're buying for, and the design stops being a surname and becomes a piece of their history. Babies in the family are a natural fit too. A Mathis onesie is an easy way to welcome a new member, and the same name on a kids tee lets the next generation wear it. Mathis also appears as a city name in some places, so if the person you're shopping for is tied to a town by that name, you may find designs that speak to both.
