About this mattawa gift
Mattawa is a small city in Grant County, Washington, in the Columbia Basin, where irrigated farms and orchards run out toward the desert and the folks who live there tend to know everybody at the grocery store. A shirt with the town name on it is how a person who grew up there, or who left for school and keeps coming back, wears their hometown into a bigger city. Pick the design that fits their style, then use the second line to add a year, a high school class, or the street they grew up on, which turns a generic town tee into something only their people would fully get. A kids tee or onesie works for a family that wants to pass the hometown pride along. A mug suits the one who's far away and still starts the morning with a little bit of home in their hands. Since Mattawa is a small place, you may find fewer designs than for a big city, but the personal line is where the gift really lands.
