About this mcalester gift
McAlester is a small city in southeastern Oklahoma, the kind of place where people know each other, the high school ball games matter, and folks who leave often end up coming back. Pittsburg County is its home base, and a lot of the people who live there have roots that run deep in the surrounding towns. A McAlester shirt is a way for someone who grew up there, or who has made it home, to say so without making a speech about it. It works for a cousin who moved off to Tulsa or Dallas and misses the place, for a new resident who wants to show they've settled in, or for anyone whose whole family is from there. Because the word is short and direct, it reads cleanly on a tee or a hoodie. A mug suits the person who wants a little hometown pride with their morning coffee. Add a second line like a graduation year or a neighborhood, and the design starts to tell their own story about the town.
