About this mohegan lake gift
Mohegan Lake is a hamlet in the town of Yorktown in Westchester County, New York, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A shirt with the name on it is how a former resident wears their hometown to a college campus, a new job, or a family reunion back in the Hudson Valley. Hamlets are small, so a lot of the pride is about the people: the friends from the same school bus, the neighbors who knew your street, the local spots everyone remembers. For someone who moved away, a Mohegan Lake mug on the desk is a daily reminder of where they started. For someone still living there, a hoodie says they're staying put and proud of it. Add a second line with a graduation year, a street or a high school class, and the design becomes a story only the two of you fully share.
