About this mold setter gift
A mold setter runs the machine side of injection molding: they change tooling, dial in temperatures and pressures, and keep a press running through long shifts on a shop floor that's loud, warm and never quite still. Good gifts for this job are the ones that survive the work. A dark tee for the second shift, a hoodie for the cold dock or the break room, and a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't walk off the bench. The detail that makes it land is the trade itself. Put mold setter on the shirt as the main line, and use the second line for their shift, their shop or the year they started. Then it reads as a job they're proud of rather than a generic work shirt, and the people they work beside will notice.
