About this new iberia gift
New Iberia sits on Bayou Teche in south Louisiana, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A New Iberia shirt is a way to claim that bayou town, whether the wearer still lives there or left for school, work or a new life in another state. It's the kind of gift that gets worn to a homecoming, a crawfish boil, a family reunion or just a weekend errand where someone asks where you're from. Many designs let you type a second line, so you can add a graduating class, a neighborhood, or the year someone moved away. A hoodie suits the cooler months, a mug suits the coffee routine of someone far from home, and a baby onesie is a way to pass the name down to the next generation before they can even ask about it.
