About this new matamoras gift
New Matamoras is a small village in Washington County, Ohio, on the Ohio River near the Muskingum mouth, and people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it. A shirt with the village name is how someone brings that home with them, whether they still live down the road or have moved off to a city where nobody has heard of it. Small-town gifts land when they feel specific, so think about what that person knows about the place: the river, the school they went to, the church supper or the Fourth of July they never miss. Put the village name on the front and add a second line for a year, a street or a nickname from home. A hoodie suits a cold river morning, a mug suits the kitchen table, and a kids tee lets a new generation wear the name they'll be asked about at school someday.
