About this nulato gift
Nulato is a small Alaska Native village on the Yukon River, and people from there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A Nulato shirt is how someone shows where they're from at a family gathering, at school, or on a trip back home for the summer. Because the name is specific, the design matters less than the meaning: a tee or hoodie that says Nulato tells everyone who wears it that they belong to this place. For someone who has moved away for work or school, a mug with the village name is a quiet reminder of home every morning. For a child, a kids tee or baby onesie with Nulato on it is a way to start a connection to the place early. If you're not sure what the village means to the person you're buying for, ask them what they'd like printed, or add a second line with their family name or a year that matters to them.
