About this old chatham gift
Old Chatham is a small village in Columbia County, New York, and that's where the gift lands: someone who grew up there, moved away, or just keeps coming back for the farm stands and the quiet roads. A shirt with the village name is how they claim it, whether they're at a college reunion three states away or pulling on a hoodie for a cold morning at home. Small places often mean the most to the people who left them. Think about who the recipient is first. A former resident, a summer visitor, a family that's been in the area for generations: each one wants something a little different. Add a second line for a graduation year, a street, or the name of a family farm, and the design stops being a generic town shirt and becomes theirs. For a whole family or a group of old friends, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
