About this oldham gift
Oldham is a town in Greater Manchester, England, known for its mill history and its tight-knit neighborhoods. Someone from Oldham, or with family there, carries that place with them, whether they live down the road or across an ocean. A shirt or mug with Oldham on it is a way of saying where you're from without a long explanation. Since it's a town people often leave and come back to, a gift with the name can land well for a relative who has moved abroad, a former resident who misses home, or someone who simply loves their hometown. Add a second line with a street, a year or a family name to make it theirs. Many designs come in mugs, tees, hoodies and baby onesies, so you can match the gift to the person and the season.
