About this parachute jumping gift
Skydivers and parachute jumpers tend to talk about the jump the way other people talk about a great meal: the moment the door opens, the quiet at altitude, the first few seconds of freefall before the canopy catches. A gift for someone who jumps should carry some of that feeling. A soft tee for the drop zone, a hoodie for the cold ride up in the plane, or a mug for the post-jump coffee at the hangar all fit the rhythm of a jump day. Jumpers also love to show off their hobby to people who have never done it, so a design that reads clearly from across a parking lot does the job. Add a second line with their jump count, their home drop zone, or the year they made their first jump, and the shirt becomes a little record of their progress. Many jumpers wear their gear with pride, so a personal detail lands better than a generic skydiving shirt.
All parachute jumping gifts →- A tee for the drop zoneA Parachute Jumping tee is easy to wear to the hangar and on the ride up. Add their jump count on a second line for a personal touch.
- A hoodie for cold jump daysAltitude is cold even in summer, so a hoodie works from the plane to the packing table. Add the year they started jumping.
- A mug for after the jumpAn 11 oz mug is the right size for the post-jump coffee at the hangar, and it reminds them of the day's first jump every morning.
- A kids tee for a young jumperMany younger jumpers start with a family member who jumps. A kids tee lets them show off the hobby too.
