About this pawtucket gift
Pawtucket is a city in Rhode Island, and the people who live there or grew up there tend to hold onto it. A Pawtucket shirt is how they claim the place, whether they're still around the Blackstone River or have moved to somewhere with a different skyline. Because the name is a little unusual, it also makes a good conversation starter: people will ask where it's from, and the person wearing it gets to explain. A Pawtucket hoodie suits a relative heading off to college or to a first apartment, and a mug with the city name is the everyday reminder of home for someone who moved away. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a neighborhood, a street, a year or a family name underneath to make the shirt theirs.
