About this perdido gift
Perdido is a small name for a place, and most people outside the area have never heard of it. That's exactly why a Perdido shirt matters to the people who live there or grew up there. For someone who left for a job or school and keeps telling new friends where they're from, a Perdido tee is a quiet way of saying home. For a family that stayed, it's the shirt for the local fish fry, the high school reunion, or the Saturday errands that make a town feel like a town. Because the name is short and distinctive, it reads well on a light tee, a dark tee, or a hoodie for cold mornings. Kids and babies can wear it too, so a family can match from the newest member up. If the person you're shopping for has a second line in their life, like a street, a school class year or a family name, many designs have room for it, so the shirt becomes specific to them rather than just to the place.
