About this peterborough gift
Peterborough is a city of about 80,000 people in Ontario, Canada, on the Otonabee River, and it's the kind of place where people who grew up there keep the connection for life. A Peterborough shirt is how they claim the city wherever they end up, whether that's Toronto, out West or down the road at the cottage. It works as a homecoming gift for someone who moved away, a reminder of where they're from for a friend who's now living somewhere else, or a plain everyday tee for the person who never stops talking about their hometown. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a school, the year they moved away, or the street they grew up on, and the design stops being a souvenir and becomes their story. For someone who spends the winter in the city, a hoodie is the practical pick. For the homesick, a mug on the kitchen counter does the job every morning.
