About this phlebotomists gift
Phlebotomists spend their shifts with a tray, a tourniquet and a steady hand, drawing blood for labs, blood banks and clinics, and most of them do it with a cheerful patience that their patients rarely notice. The gifts they keep tend to be the practical ones that acknowledge the work: a soft tee for the drive in before a six a.m. draw, a hoodie for the chilly lab, a mug that's clearly theirs when the break room coffee station is shared. Add their name, or a line like Phlebotomy or Lab Team under it, and the shirt stops being generic and starts being theirs. If you're shopping for a whole lab or clinic, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better thank-you than another box of donuts. National Phlebotomy Technician Week is observed in mid-June, which is a good time to order, and it also helps to plan ahead if you're buying for a new certification or a first job.
