About this pinola gift
Pinola is a small place, and the people who grew up there or moved away often carry it with them as a point of pride. A shirt with the town name is how they say where they're from, whether that's at a reunion, a game, or a coffee shop three states away. Small towns also have a lot of local texture: the main street, the people everyone knows, the particular quiet of a place where everyone's name gets mentioned. A second line with a street, a school year or a family name turns a generic town tee into something only a few people would recognize. For someone who has left, a mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of home. For someone who never left, a hoodie for cold mornings is an easy way to wear it proudly.
