About this pipestem gift
Pipestem is a small town in North Dakota, and the people who live there tend to know everyone else who does. A shirt with the town name is the kind of thing a local wears to the county fair, the high school game, or the family reunion where half the attendees grew up within a few miles of each other. For someone who left and comes back for the holidays, a Pipestem shirt says where they're from without needing an explanation. For the person who stayed, it's a bit of hometown pride they can wear on an ordinary Tuesday. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a graduating class, or a street name that means something to them. Since the town is small, the best gifts usually lean on personal details you know about them rather than on anything you'd find on a sign.
