About this plainwell gift
Plainwell is a small city in Allegan County, Michigan, along the Kalamazoo River, and the people who live there tend to know each other. A shirt with the town name is how a Plainwell person shows up at a high school game, a county fair or a family reunion with a little local pride. Plenty of them leave for work or school and come back, and a gift that says Plainwell is a quiet way to say you still think of home. Since the town is small, a second line with a street, a school year or a family name often matters more than the big word itself. A hoodie fits the chilly Michigan mornings, a mug suits a kitchen where the coffee runs early, and a baby onesie is a sweet way to pass the name down.
