About this pleasant plain gift
Pleasant Plain is a small town, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they still live down the road or ended up across the country. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, a high school game, or a visit back home over the holidays. Because the name is so specific, the gift says you paid attention to where they're from. You can keep it simple with the town name alone, or add a second line for a graduating class, a year, or the street they grew up on if that fits. Small towns also have a lot of pride in ordinary things, so a hoodie for cold mornings or a mug for the kitchen where they still read the local news can feel more personal than another generic souvenir. Look over the designs and pick the one that matches how they talk about home.
