About this pontotoc gift
Pontotoc is a small city in north Mississippi, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is how a former resident spots another one at a reunion, a ballgame or a family visit, and how a current resident marks where they're from without a long explanation. Small towns mean the gift lands in a particular place: the kitchen table, the drive to visit parents, the school hallway. Add a second line with a class year, a street or a family name, and the design stops being a town souvenir and becomes theirs. A Pontotoc hoodie works well for the chilly months, and a mug makes sense for anyone who still starts the morning at home. For a family moving away, a baby onesie with the town name is a quiet way to mark where the newest member of the family first comes from.
