About this poteau gift
Poteau is a small city in eastern Oklahoma, the kind of town where people know each other's families and the high school game draws most of the county. A shirt with Poteau on it is how someone who grew up there shows it off, whether they still live a few blocks from the old school or have spent years somewhere much bigger. Because the name is a little unusual, many people outside the area have never heard of it, so a Poteau shirt often starts a conversation. Transplants and former residents tend to value a hometown gift most when it's worn in everyday places. A hoodie for the cold months, a mug for the kitchen, or a tee for a visit home are all ways to say they're from somewhere specific. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a graduation year, or the high school's class if you want it to feel personal.
