About this property custodian gift
Property custodians keep buildings running quietly: unlocking rooms at six, answering the call about the broken door, mopping up whatever happened overnight, and making sure the place looks like someone cares about it. Most of the work goes unnoticed until it stops, which is part of why a gift for a custodian should be seen. A tee or hoodie with their title on it says the job counts. Add their name or the building they look after, and it becomes theirs in a way a generic work shirt never is. Dark tees hold up well through the cleaning-supply rounds, and a hoodie is the thing they'll reach for on the cold early shifts when the boiler is still warming up. For the break room, an 11 oz mug with their name is the one coworkers won't borrow. Plenty of custodians have worked the same building for decades, so a gift that names both the job and the place tends to land best.
