About this recreation counselor gift
Recreation counselors spend their days running games, leading hikes, keeping the canoe line moving and calming a homesick kid at bedtime, often in the sun and always in a whistle's range. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge that job: a tee they can wear to the lake, a hoodie for the cool evenings around the campfire, a mug for the staff lounge before the 7 a.m. wake-up. Put their title on the front and the camp or program name underneath, and it becomes a shirt that says they're part of a team rather than just a generic staff tee. If you're buying for a whole staff, the Team Shop lets you choose one design and paste everyone's name, so every counselor gets their own shirt in their own size. Summer camp hiring wraps up in late spring, so an early gift lands right as the season starts.
