About this restaurant crew gift
Restaurant crew members work the line, the register, the drive-thru and the dish pit, often on their feet through a dinner rush and then back again the next morning. A gift for them should acknowledge that grind without making a joke of it. A soft tee for the off hours, a hoodie for the walk to the bus stop after close, or a mug for the one quiet cup they get before a shift is the kind of thing that actually gets used. Most crew members don't have a title on the wall, so the personal touch matters. Put their name on it, or the store or the station they work, like grill, fry or front counter, and it becomes theirs. If you're buying for the whole shift, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a better thank-you than another sheet cake in the break room. Many crews also have a first-day or anniversary moment worth marking.
