About this shade gift
Shade is a small town, and the people from there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. A shirt that says Shade is for the kid who grew up on its one main road, for the couple who moved back after years in a bigger city, and for the relative who still sends a postcard every summer. Because Shade is less familiar to most people than the big cities, a Shade tee or mug starts conversations, and that's part of the appeal. Think about what the person actually loves about the place: the drive in, the neighbors, the spot they used to sit as a teenager. A second line can hold a year, a street or a nickname that only their friends would catch, and that's what makes a gift feel like theirs. For a hoodie, the cooler months are when it earns its keep; for a mug, it's the daily reminder of home.
