About this snare drum gift
A snare drummer is the one who keeps the beat tight and the rudiments clean, usually while everyone else gets the spotlight. Marching band, pit orchestra, drum line, church or garage band: wherever they play, the snare is the instrument they carry, tune and fuss over. A gift that acknowledges that lands well. A tee with snare drum on it works for practice and gigs, a hoodie suits the cold football sideline and the bus ride home, and a mug is the one they'll reach for before the first rehearsal of the morning. Add their band, their section or their graduating year on the second line and it stops being a generic music shirt and becomes theirs. If you're shopping for a whole drum line, one design with each drummer's name works better than a stack of identical shirts.
