About this south beloit gift
South Beloit is a small city on the Illinois side of the Illinois-Wisconsin line, right across the state border from Beloit, Wisconsin. People who grew up there often carry that border-town identity with them, whether they stayed, moved to Rockford or Madison, or ended up far away. A shirt that says South Beloit is a way of saying where you're from without a long explanation, and it lands well with anyone who has ever had to explain that South Beloit is not part of Beloit. For a transplant, a mug on the desk is a small reminder of home. For someone who never left, a hoodie for the cold months says the same thing with less fuss. Add a second line such as a class year, a street, or a family name to make the piece theirs.
