About this store receiver gift
A store receiver is the person who checks in the freight, counts the cases against the packing slip, and makes sure the shelves get filled before the doors open. Their day starts before most shoppers are awake, often with a dock door, a pallet jack and a stack of paperwork that has to match what actually came off the truck. It's detail work in a loud, physical job, and a lot of it goes unnoticed unless something goes wrong. A shirt or mug with their title and maybe their store number or department is a way of saying you know what they do and that it matters. Add a name line if you like, and the design becomes theirs. Hoodies work well for the cold dock in the early months of the year, and a mug is a quiet nod to the coffee that usually fuels the first hour of a receiving shift.
