About this survey crew chief gift
A survey crew chief spends the day outdoors with a total station, a rod, and a field book, running a crew through property lines, boundary corners and grade stakes before the sun gets too high. They're usually the one who decides where the crew sets up, reads the plans, and answers for the numbers when the staking goes wrong. The gifts that land tend to be practical ones for the field: a tee that's comfortable under a reflective vest, a hoodie for the cold mornings before the first shot, or a mug for the truck where the coffee sits while the instrument warms up. Putting the crew chief title on it, and adding their company name or the crew number in the second line if they want it, makes the gift feel like it was made for their job. For a whole crew, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a better way to mark a season of long days than another round of lunch.
