About this switcher gift
A switcher is someone who changes careers, often more than once, and usually after a long stretch of doing something else first. They might have left teaching for software, or nursing for the trades, or spent a decade in finance before opening a bakery. That history is a big part of who they are, and it makes a gift for them more meaningful when it nods to the leap rather than a single job title. A tee or hoodie that says Switcher reads as a small badge of courage, the kind of thing a friend notices and smiles at. A mug works well for the morning routine of someone starting over at a desk, a bench or a new kitchen, where they're still learning the ropes. Because the word describes a path rather than a uniform, it suits almost anyone who took the scenic route into their work. To make it theirs, add the new field on the second line, something like Switcher, Now Coding or Switcher, Now Baking, so the shirt tells the story they're living.
