About this tieton gift
Tieton is a small town in Yakima County, Washington, tucked into the foothills of the Cascades near the orchards of the Yakima Valley. People who grew up there often carry it with them, and a Tieton shirt is a quick way to show where they're from when they land somewhere else. Tieton is small enough that a shirt with the name on it will start a conversation at a county fair, a high school reunion or a gas station in another state. For the former resident who moved away for work or school, a mug with the town name is a daily reminder of home. For a kid, a Tieton tee or onesie is a way to claim a hometown before they can say it. Since the word is so specific, pair it with a second line like a graduating class, a street or the year they moved back.
