About this topanga gift
Topanga is a canyon and community in the hills west of Los Angeles, where the air smells of dry chaparral and the roads wind between oak-covered ridges. People who live there tend to be fiercely attached to it, whether they grew up on the canyon roads or moved up for the quiet and the view. A Topanga shirt is a way to claim that place, the kind you wear on a hike, to the beach at Malibu, or just on a drive back down the canyon. Because Topanga is a smaller place than the big city names, a gift with the word on it lands as something specific: the local who knows the trails, or the friend who finally moved out of the city. Pick a design that fits their everyday, put the name or year in the second line if you want it personal, and it becomes theirs.
