About this walnut gift
Walnut is a name that shows up on a lot of maps, from the Walnut Creek area out west to the Walnut Street corridors many towns grew up around. If the person you're shopping for lives in or grew up in a Walnut, they probably get asked where that is more often than they'd like. A shirt with the town name is an easy way to answer, and it works for anyone who has ever said they're from a place most people haven't heard of. Add a second line for a street, a high school class year, or a neighborhood, and the design starts to belong to them specifically. Hoodies suit the cold months, and kids tees and baby onesies work for families who want the next generation to know where they're from. A mug is a good pick for the person who keeps coming back to their hometown in conversation.
