About this waskom gift
Waskom is a small town in East Texas, close to the Louisiana line, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of it in a quiet, rooted way. A shirt with the town name is the kind of thing that gets worn to the Friday night game, the county fair, the church homecoming and the family reunion, and it often ends up as the one people remember from a visit back. Because it's a small place, most of the gift's meaning comes from the connection itself: a former resident who moved away, a relative who still lives there, or a neighbor who has never once left. A design with the town name on a hoodie suits the cold mornings, and a mug with Waskom on it is an easy daily reminder for someone living far away. Add a second line with a year they were born, a graduating class or the street they grew up on, and the gift becomes theirs rather than a generic town souvenir.
