About this wauzeka gift
Wauzeka is a small village in Crawford County, in southwestern Wisconsin, and most people who grew up there know it by the highway signs and the local ballfield more than by any big landmark. A Wauzeka shirt is for the person who still says they're from there even after twenty years in Madison or Milwaukee. It's a gift for the homecoming weekend, the family reunion, or the kid who just moved back and needs something to wear to the first trip to the Piggly Wiggly. Because it's a small place, the word itself carries a lot, so you don't need to add much. A second line with the family name, the high school class year, or the street they grew up on gives it the personal touch. For someone who moved away, a mug on their kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of where they started.
