About this welch gift
Welch is a last name with roots in Wales, where it was once used for anyone who came from or spoke Welsh, and it's carried by families across the US, from Pennsylvania and Ohio to the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest. A Welch shirt is how a family finds each other at the reunion, the wedding or the holiday photo, and the name looks good in plain block letters. Add a reunion year, a town, or the grandparents' first names on a second line and it stops being a name on a shirt and becomes a family history. For a kids tee or baby onesie, a Welch design works as the first thing a new family member wears in a family photo. Mugs suit the grandparents' kitchen, where the whole family ends up on the holidays anyway. If you're organizing a group, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt, so you only have to collect names and sizes once.
