About this west burlington gift
West Burlington is a small place, and people who grew up there usually say so with a little pride. The town is in Iowa's Des Moines County, tucked against the Mississippi River, and most folks who live there know their neighbors, their school's teams, and the drive to the next town over for groceries. A West Burlington shirt is how someone who grew up there, or who ended up there for a job or a spouse, tells the world where they're from. It's a good fit for the person who never stopped saying the name at parties, for a graduate heading off to college who wants to take home with them, or for the parent who's been away for years and misses the hometown feel. Add a second line for the high school class year, a street, or a family name, and the design stops being a generic town tee and becomes theirs. A mug on the kitchen counter does the same job every morning.
