About this westside gift
Westside is a phrase that carries a lot of meaning for the people who grew up with it, whether that's a neighborhood, a side of town, or a school or club name that locals rally around. A Westside shirt is how they claim that place, whether they still live there or moved away years ago. The shirt works best when it sounds like something they'd actually say: the Westside on the front, and a second line for a block, a graduating class, or the year they moved out. Westside is also a name people share with a hometown crowd, so a hoodie for a homecoming weekend or a mug for a coworker who grew up there gives them an easy way to start a conversation. Because Westside can mean different things in different places, the best detail is the one only the recipient would recognize, and that's where you add their own line.
