About this willimantic gift
Willimantic is a small mill town in northeastern Connecticut, on the Willimantic River, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A Willimantic shirt is how a former resident says where they're from when someone asks, or how a current resident claims the place as home. Because it's a small town, the details that matter are local: the neighborhood, the street, the year they left or came back. Many designs have a second line, so you can put a year, a street or a nickname under the town name and make the shirt specific to them. A hoodie works well for a cold New England winter, and a mug suits the person who has moved away and wants a daily reminder of home. If you're buying for a group of friends or relatives from the same town, the Team Shop lets you print one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
