About this castleton on hud gift
Castleton-on-Hudson is a small village in Rensselaer County, New York, on the Hudson River just north of Albany. People who grew up there or still live there tend to hold onto the place: the river views, the small-town feel, and a sense that home is a little quieter than the city next door. A shirt or mug with the village name is a way to say where they're from without a long explanation, and it works well for the friend or relative who moved away and still tells people they're from upstate. Since the village is small, most people in it will know exactly which town you mean, which makes the design feel personal rather than generic. You can add a second line for a street, a graduation year or a family name to make it more theirs.
