About this data migration lead gift
A data migration lead is the person who moves an organization's information from an old system to a new one without losing anything, and who usually gets blamed when a field lands in the wrong place even though they spent months catching problems before anyone noticed. The work is mostly planning, mapping, testing and cutover weekends, often in a conference room full of people who only remember the system when it breaks. A gift that acknowledges that quiet, careful effort tends to land better than something generic. A tee for the long testing stretch, a hoodie for the cold server-room weekend, or a mug for the desk where the migration plan lives will all feel right. You can make it theirs by adding their title on a second line, or the name of the project or the year of the go-live, so the shirt marks the migration they actually finished. If you're buying for the whole data team, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt is a easy way to say thanks after a hard launch.
